In the UK, a box of half empty chocolates sitting on the coffee table is every bit as festive as the Christmas tree or the presents, and it has become a tradition to complain about them. Every year, many people take to social media to complain their favourite chocolate box is getting smaller with less in them thanks to shrinkflation.
No one wants to spend lots of money on a big tub of chocolate only for it to be filled with bounties, so I have decided to count each chocolate from Britain’s most beloved brands. I went to my local Tesco to buy Celebrations, Quality Street, Heroes and Roses to discover which one is really worth buying this holiday season.
Celebrations are a personal favourite of mine, and it was interesting to see that there is actually a reason Milky Ways are always the last ones left as there were more of them than any other type in the box.

If you are looking for the best value box then you may want to buy Quality Street this Christmas as it had the most chocolate with 61 pieces.
It only had four Green Triangles and Milk Chocolate Blocks but if you are a caramel fan then this is the box for you as it had a whooping nine Caramel Swirls.
