The Oura Ring 4 is one of the best and most popular smart rings on the market, a subtle and good-looking alternative to a fitness tracker that crams a heart rate sensor and multi-day battery life into a ring. With skin temperature, steps and more detected when you wear it 24/7, the ring provides a lot of health insight in a relatively new form factor.
The Oura Ring 4 launched in 2024 and is rarely on sale, but it has been discounted heavily in the Boxing Day and New Year sales with a huge 30 percent saving applied to some models. Today, Monday January 5, is the very last day you can pick up the latest Oura Ring 4 for as little as £249, as tomorrow those prices will go right back up to their full RRPs.
Both the metal and ceramic versions of the smart ring are on sale, with the perennially popular silver ring just £249, £100 off its £349 RRP. The black version is also this price.
One thing to remember is that to get the most out of the Oura Ring 4 you also have to commit to a £5.99 per month subscription fee. This unlocks all the features, tools and insights within the Oura app for iPhone and Android.
In the sale that ends today you can also opt for a brushed titanium ring for £299 (usually £399) or the gold or rose gold hues for £349 (the steepest discount with £150 off the usual £499 price).

Last year, Oura also released ceramic versions of the Ring 4, available in shades of blue, white, green and lilac. Usually £499, they are also on sale for £449. This version has a smooth, polished finish that is hardier than the metal rings and will show fewer scratches and blemishes. In my usage of the silver Oura Ring 4, the metal versions pick up dings and dents as you would expect from a regular ring.

The main thing to note when buying any version of the Oura Ring 4 is the process of receiving and using a sizing kit. Oura sells the ring in sizes 4-15, and these sizes are different to standard ring sizes, so it’s not a good idea to guess your size.
Instead, you pay upfront for the ring you want and then are first sent a sizing kit with plastic rings of every size. You then wear these rings for a few days, including in bed when your fingers usually thicken slightly, to judge which is the best size for you.
Oura recommends wearing the ring on your index finger for the best tracking via the sensors, but you can also choose to wear one on your middle or ring fingers.
If you have been thinking about purchasing an Oura Ring 4 to kickstart your fitness regime in 2026, today is your last chance to pick one up with a notable discount.
